What in the World is Kids ROCK?
Kids ROCK (Kids Really Obedient to Christ the King) is our exciting Wednesday night program for children!! Each week our kids enjoy the following:
Debby Boyd shares the plan of salvation using a pumpkin.
5:25 pm – Kids Supper in the Fellowship Hall (free)
5:45 pm – Worship Rally in the sanctuary
6:00 pm – Age-graded small group Bible Study
6:30 pm – ROCK Music (Children’s Choirs)
7:00 pm – Dismiss & Parent Pick-up (Gr. 1-6 from the gym)
Who is Kids ROCK For?
Kids Age 3 to Grade 6. ANY kids. Kids do not have to regularly attend Oakdale in order to be part of Kids ROCK. In fact, we already have many who come to Kids ROCK only. That’s OK with us!
The Shirt Thing
Come 4X in a row, get a T-shirt to go! For the second year, we give T-shirts to kids who attend four sessions straight of Kids ROCK. Our T-shirts this year are neon green. They should glow nicely under a black light! Our theme this year is “Glow for Jesus,” based on Matthew 5:16.
